Forever in love with you

Is it an addiction
A subconscious infatuation
That clings to a single thread
Of hope I run through your head
More then I'll ever know
Still hate that you had to go
If I could turn back the hands of time
You'd be here right next to my side
Instead I move on with somebody new
Hiding my heart with its love for you
Is it wrong is it right
Should I stay lonely the rest of my life
While I wait for you to return
Should I just sit here watching my life burn

Like the cigarette that I smoke
As my heart clings to the hope
That one day you'll be at my door
Ready to give me so much more
Then I ever could have imagined
Too bad dreams really don't happen
For if they did actually came true
My body would be lying next to you
It saddens me to have to love another
When I'd rather be with you forever
Maybe I'm crazy, maybe I'm a fool
Forever in love with you
