How can he make me so happy
Yet make me wanna cry
I just wanna hold him
Yet I stand selflessly
As he walks out into the unknown
The love I feel for him
Forever unseen
I dare not let it show
Convince myself I belong to another
Call him up just to piss him off
Letting the tears fall from my eyes
As he walks out of my life
I hesitate only making things worse
Desperate to be selfish
I know he's out of my league
And better off without me
Driving myself mad crazy
Fighting off the urge to run to him
If he truly knew how I feel
He'd probably change his mind
And realize all along I made a sacrifice
Just for him...
