Still Missing You (poem)

I'm sitting alone, alone in the dark
Spilling out the pieces of my heart
Scattering the around the floor
Not sure what I'm waiting for
My body aches, my soul screams
I search relentlessly
I am restless
Tears flood my eyes
It comes to mind
The face so very clear
Sadness quickly disappears
Dancing right before my eyes
Is the greatest of sights


I get up begin moving about
My body cheers, my soul shouts
Heat floods through my being
I'm savoring this good feeling
Never have I felt so alive
Floating high as a kite
Then it all comes to an end
And I'm back to the floor again
Trying to figure what happened
Though I already know the truth
This is my love for you
And it's me missing you
