I saw you today...coming my way

I just stared...wasn't sure you were there

Your hair was long...came to your shoulders

Though I know...you're a few years older

You stood tall...handsome as can be

I saw you today...a smile on your face

My heart raced...wishing you were really there

With your eyes sparkling...filled with sunlight

You were handsome...sweet and kind

I saw you today...waiting for me
My heart ached...wishing it could be
The briefest moment...lost in time
Oh I wish... you were mine
