I was with another guy
Searching for the one thing
I couldn't find
Then right out of the blue
In come walking you
Everything began to change
I didn't know how to explain
I wasn't even aware
That I wanted you near
Until you said goodbye
And the sun left my sky
Then you stood in front of me
And I saw everything clearly
Or so I had thought
For you remain gone
Moved on with your life
And left me behind
I never asked for this
It just happened
But of course
I'm not good enough
For someone like you
to even think of
Yet, here I am
trying to keep hope
That maybe
