Life can be so unfair
I had you there
Here beside me
I didn't know
You'd become everything to me
Now you're gone
I did wrong
My biggest mistake
My only regret
And all I can do is cry
And pray
You'll come back
to give us a try

Life can be so cruel
born to lose
seems to be
The joke is on me
You were everything to me
Now you're gone
I was wrong
Told you how I feel
Yes its real
Yet all I can do is cry
And wait
For something to happen
That never comes
