Tears For You (poem)

There's a fire in my heart
And it has a name
I hear it sing, always the same
But you're too far away
You can't hear what I say
And you don't care anyway
So these tears are for you

Everything inside of me
Screams we're meant to be
It screams to run out the door
And don't stop until your in my arms

But I know, I have to let you go
Its the only way to know
If love is true, I have to wait for you
To come back on your own

Though its hard
I've come so far
All I've been through
Has prepared me for you
I've come far enough
I am ready for your love

Life has just begun
Finally found the one
For there's a fire in my heart
