You can’t break a heart
That’s already broken
You can’t hurt a soul
That’s already hurting
Behind these blue eyes
Is a lifetime of pain
You will never comprehend
The places that I have been
Behind these blue eyes
So many nights have been spent
On bloody knees with burnt skin
You will never conceive
The many things I have seen
You can't break a heart
That's already broken
