In Hopes (Poem)

I've repeated these lines
Now about a millions times
Trying to find new ways
To refresh what I need to say
So here I scribble out another poem
In hopes it won't be long
Yet, you probably aren't even aware
That this is even here
Secretly I do hope it finds you
So that you will know
That you mean so much to me
Much more then I expected
I know I had lost my head
I just wish you could forgive me
I miss you more than words can say
I really wish you hadn't gone away
But for now I will say goodnight
And hope it will bring you a smile
