I am still trying to find away to explain
How do I get you to understand?
I only long for the touch of your hand
If you could see yourself through my eyes
Boy you never would have said goodbye
I know what I did was wrong
But I can't turn back the hands of time
All I can do is let you spread your wings and fly
I have to believe it won't be long
Until you find your way back to me
I can't shake off these feelings
Nor can I get you out off my mind
Its been a year and six months
Boy isn't that long enough
I'm old enough to know right from wrong
Its okay if you're not ready to dive in
I'm not asking for you to commit
I am still trying to find away to explain
Help me to understand
How something so right could be wrong?
These feelings are way too strong
I miss you more than words can say
I wish you hadn't gone away
Isn't there room in your heart to give us a try
Why did you have to say goodbye?
