Days Go By (poem)

Just sitting watching the days go by
If I could explain what I'm feeling
Maybe then you'd be here with me
Instead of dancing before my eyes

This craving for you won't go away
Still can't believe that you're gone
Don't know what else you want me to say
Still can't figure out what I did so wrong

I was only trying to make it things right
Instead of living in your silent memories
Still I'm sitting here as the days go by
Trying to understand why you avoid me

Every little thing I do you're on my mind
I just can't seem to shake these feelings
I can't get over you I think of you all the time
Never thought I'd be a puppet on a string

No one else has ever effected me like this
Every thing about you just lingers on
In the nights I dream of kissing your lips
Can't move on with these feelings this strong
